At Thenewconfident, we recognize that situations may arise where customers need to cancel or update an order. Our priority is to keep the process clear and efficient while maintaining fast handling and reliable shipping.

This Cancel & Change Order Policy explains when and how an order placed on thenewconfident.com may be modified or canceled. The policy applies to all orders shipped within the 50 United States and fulfilled through carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.


1. Order Processing Timeline

Orders placed from Monday to Friday before 5:00 PM EST are typically processed on the same business day. Orders submitted after the cutoff time, on weekends, or on holidays are processed on the next business day.

Once an order enters processing, cancellation or modification is no longer guaranteed.

The order has been successfully submitted and may still be eligible for changes.

Processing
Items are being picked and prepared. Changes or cancellations are not guaranteed.

Handling
The order is being packed and prepared for shipment, usually within 1–2 business days. Cancellation is unlikely.

Shipped
The package has been handed over to the carrier. Cancellation or changes are no longer possible, and the return process must be followed after delivery.


2. Order Cancellation Policy

When Cancellation Is Possible

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of placement, provided processing has not started.

If payment has been completed and the order has not yet entered processing, cancellation is allowed with a full refund. If processing has begun, we will attempt to cancel the order when possible, but this cannot be guaranteed. Once an order has shipped, cancellation is no longer available.

To request cancellation, please email support@thenewconfident.com and include your full name, order number, and reason for cancellation. Requests are reviewed within 24 business hours.

When Cancellation Is Not Available

Cancellation cannot be accepted if the order is being packed, a shipping label has already been created, the order has shipped, or more than 12 hours have passed since the order was placed.

If an order has shipped, customers must wait for delivery and then proceed according to our Return & Refund Policy.


3. Order Changes and Modifications

We support order changes whenever possible, depending on the current processing stage.

Types of Changes That May Be Requested

Changes may include size or color updates, product replacements, shipping address corrections, contact information updates, or adding or removing items. All change requests must be submitted before processing begins.

Address Updates

Shipping address corrections must be requested immediately after placing an order. Address changes are allowed only if the order has not entered processing. Once an order is processing, address updates are not guaranteed. Address changes are not possible after the order has shipped.

If an order has shipped, customers may attempt a carrier reroute directly with the carrier. Any fees charged for rerouting are the responsibility of the customer.

Product Changes

Product changes depend on item availability. If the replacement item has a higher price, a payment link will be provided. If the replacement item costs less, the price difference will be refunded to the original payment method.


4. Fees Related to Cancellations or Changes

There are no cancellation fees if the order has not entered processing. There are also no fees for correcting customer details before processing begins. Any carrier rerouting fees, if applicable, are charged directly by the carrier and are not controlled by Thenewconfident.


5. Orders That Have Already Shipped

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled or modified. Customers must wait until delivery is completed and then submit a return request in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Our return terms include a 30-day return window, no return or restocking fees, and refunds processed within 5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected. If a shipment is delayed or lost, a carrier investigation may be required.


6. Special Situations

If an item becomes unavailable before processing begins, customers may choose between a full refund, a replacement item of equal value, or store credit.

If duplicate orders are placed by mistake, customers should contact us immediately. Duplicate orders will be canceled and refunded if they have not shipped.

Checkout errors such as incorrect size, variant, or quantity must be reported within 12 hours of placing the order.
